England v Italy Match Reports
England overcame a canny Italy to win 36-15 at Twickenham. A fascinating first half saw England thoroughly confused by Italian tactics, whereby their players refused to form rucks. Dan Cole scored England's first try in the 24th minute, but a Tommaso Allan drop-goal and a Giovanbattista Venditti try put Italy 10-5 up at half time. England started strongly in the second half and scored two quick tries through Danny Care and Elliot Daly to retake the lead. Michele Campagnaro scored Italy's second try on the hour, to bring his team within two points of England. But late tries from Jack Nowell and Ben Te'o secured a 17th consecutive win for England.
