France beat Scotland 22-16 in a bruising encounter at the Stade de France in Paris. Both teams scored a try and two penalties apiece in the first half, with Stuart Hogg going over for Scotland and Gael Fickou for France. Tim Swinson scored a second Scottish try shortly after the break, but Finn Russell missed an easy conversion after the ball fell off its tee. France were awarded a penalty a few minutes later, which Camille Lopez kicked to bring the teams level at 16-16.
