Scotland beat Ireland 27-22 in the opening match of the 2017 Six Nations Championship at the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. A brace of tries from man-of-the-match Stuart Hogg and one from Alex Dunbar saw Scotland run up a 21-8 lead by half-time. Ireland came out stronger after the break and took a one-point lead just after the hour mark, with tries from Iain Henderson and Paddy Jackson adding to Keith Earls' first-half score.
