Scotland completed their Six Nations campaign with a 29-0 bonus-point win over Italy at a sold-out BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. Scotland built a commanding 15-0 half-time lead thanks to tries from man-of-the-match Finn Russell and Matt Scott, plus an earlier penalty kick by Stuart Hogg. Italy meanwhile missed three first-half penalty kicks. After the break, Scotland were reduced to 14 men when Captain John Barclay was sent to the sin-bin as Italy pushed hard for a score. However, despite having a couple of good opportunities, Italy failed to take advantage during the period. Tim Visser touched down for a third Scottish try, somewhat against the run of play, just after the hour mark.
