Wales stormed to a third Grand Slam under Warren Gatland with an emphatic 25-7 victory over Ireland at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Wales took the lead in the second minute after Hadleigh Parkes scored a try from Gareth Anscombe's chip over the top. Ireland appeared to struggle with the poor weather conditions and gave away a series of penalties, which Anscombe kicked to give Wales a 16-0 half-time lead. Ireland continued to be penalised in the second half and Wales took full advantage to build an unassailable 25-0 lead.
