Scotland put an end to Les Bleus' hopes of a Grand Slam with a 28-17 victory over 14-man France at BT Murrayfield. The game was balanced at 9-7 towards the end of the first half when French prop Mohamed Haouas was sent off for striking Jamie Ritchie. Scotland wasted no time in capitalising on their man advantage with Sean Maitland going over for a try on the stroke of half-time. Maitland scored another try early in the second-half as Scotland started to pull away from the visitors. Stuart McInally plundered a third try in the 64th minute to all but end French hopes.
