England fell to their biggest-ever home defeat as France delivered a stunning 53-10 victory at Twickenham. An error-strewn first half display from England saw them trailing 27-3 at the break. France showed their attacking intent right from the off with Thomas Ramos sweeping across the try line in the 2nd minute. Thibaud Flament and Charles Ollivon also crossed in a dominant first half for the visitors. After the break, Freddie Steward scored England's only try in their best period of the match. France restored a 24-point lead when Flament scored his second try in the 57th minute. Moments later, things got worse for England when Ollivon stretched over to score his second try.
