Ireland continued their march towards a Grand Slam with a 22-7 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield. Both sides scored a try apiece in an end-to-end first half, which finished 8-7 in the visitors' favour. Huw Jones had crashed over for Scotland, whilst Mack Hansen had dotted down in the corner for Ireland. After the break, the high tempo of the match continued with both sides creating chances. Ireland were first to break the deadlock when James Lowe crossed in the 57th minute. Jack Conan then touched down five minutes later to put Ireland in a commanding position. Ireland largely dominated the final quarter as they hunted a fourth try, but the bonus point eluded them. The victory took its toll, however, as Ireland lost five players to injury, including Garry Ringrose who took a nasty knock to the head during a tackle. A selection of match reports is listed below:
