Ireland v Scotland Match Reports
Ireland claimed a second successive Six Nations title with a closely fought 17-13 victory over Scotland in Dublin. A tight first half ended 7-6 in the hosts' favour after Dan Sheehan's try was countered by two Finn Russell penalty kicks. After the break, Jack Crowley kicked a penalty to extend Ireland's narrow lead. Ireland then began to exert huge pressure on Scotland's line and it eventually told in the 65th minute when Andrew Porter crashed over. In the final few minutes, Huw Jones broke free to score a try for Scotland and set up a nervy finish. But Ireland held on to win the match and secure the title.
