Italy recorded a second successive Six Nations victory with a 24-21 win over Wales in Cardiff. Wales had struggled to get a foothold in the first half and made far too many mistakes. Italy capitalised with Paolo Garbisi kicking two penalties and Monty Ioane scoring a try to give the visitors an 11-0 lead at half-time. After the break, Lorenzo Pani swept through to score a try and extend Italy's lead. The home side continued to be frustrated by errors whenever they gained territory. Elliot Dee managed to get the ball over the line just after the hour mark to give Wales hope. Paolo Garbisi and Martin Page-Relo both struck penalties inside the final 10 minutes to secure a very well deserved victory for Italy. Will Rowlands and Mason Grady scored late tries for Wales, but it only served to flatter the scoreline for the hosts who collected the Wooden Spoon. A selection of match reports is listed below:
