France will host Ireland at the Stade de France in Paris on Thursday 5th February in the opening match of the 2026 Six Nations Championship.

France claimed a 42-27 bonus-point victory over Ireland during the 2025 Championship.

France and Ireland have contested a total of 104 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1909. France have won 60 of those matches, whilst Ireland have won 37 matches. There have also been seven drawn matches between the two nations.
