Ireland v Scotland Match Reports
Ireland claimed a Triple Crown and left themselves in contention for the title with a 43-21 bonus-point win over Scotland in Dublin. Both sides made a fast start, with Jamie Osborne going under the posts in the third minute for Ireland before Darcy Graham replied for Scotland a few minutes later. Ireland then took control as Dan Sheehan and Rob Baloucoune added further tries to give the hosts a 19-7 lead at half-time. Scotland struck first after the break when Finn Russell crossed to reduce the deficit, but Darragh Murray quickly restored Ireland's momentum by securing the bonus point with their fourth try. Rory Darge responded for Scotland on the hour mark as the visitors threatened a comeback, but Tommy O'Brien ran through to score Ireland's fifth try in the 68th minute. Jack Crowley added a penalty soon after to stretch the advantage to three scores, before O'Brien sealed the victory with his second try in the closing minute.
